UPSA Geneva Section, Training Centre of the Swiss Professional Union of the Automobile.
The Training Centre of the UPSA, Geneva section, is responsible for delivering practical courses for the professions of mechatronics technicians, maintenance mechanics and automobile maintenance assistants.
Each apprentice attends between three and four weeks of teaching per year there.
They perfect their practical knowledge of the trade, which now extends far beyond simple mechanics, since it also encompasses electronics, diagnostics, welding, as well as general culture linked to mechanics.
The premises occupied by the Training Centre comprise four workshops, with a total surface area of 1,270 m², enabling an average of 220 apprentices to be welcomed each year.
The courses are delivered by five qualified teachers, within the building previously used by CEPIA, CEPTA, and more recently under the designation of Technical Vocational Training Centre (CFP-T).
