The Musée Rath, opened in 1826, is Switzerland’s oldest purpose-built fine arts museum. Located on Place Neuve in Geneva, it now forms part of the Musée d’art et d’histoire and hosts major temporary exhibitions of art, archaeology and cultural heritage.
